Thank you although of course I have heard of The Lady. I have never had occasion to read

It does seem sad and although poetical it does take someone like yourself to appreciate 

the depth of such work. I did enjoy your explanation though.

Tennyson is one of the greatest romantics in the world of poetry. May the Lady of Shalott find reprieve from the dark shadows while weaving her mirror images. Being of British descent, his description of the eastern English countryside makes me want to visit even more. Maybe one day...Merry Christmas. Regular smile
