- Go to NOT A HORSE RACE
What a shame you could have been a famous jockey .
I must confess I prefer to ride Carthorses. Happy New Year.🌹🌹

Re: Sea Gypsy
Actually, didn't have time to be scared. The whole thing took less than five minutes, and I was safely on my feet again and standing next to a perfectly calm horse almost in the blink of an eye. Of course, I thought about it later and gave myself a good talking-to. Dumb luck is a good companion.

What a holy nightmare! Yikes. You must have been so scared. It’s important for parents not to overreact but sometimes it’s hard.

Re:
In addition to the 150+ cattle we had on the farm, Dad also had five horses, two of which were the big Belgian draft horses. They were remarkably friendly, despite their massive size.
Ahh, the good ol' days!

Wow, and whoa! 🐴 Nothing quite compares to a scared mama when it comes to her babies. I would have felt the same way had it been one of my daughters. I'm glad you weren't harmed. Happy New Year!
