Re: Kabu

Once we could have bought 14 acres for one thousand pounds but it was impossible to pay back the mortgage at that time. What would it make today? 14 million I expect. Why don't you try Pinhead Oatmeal it makes good porridge.🌹🌹😺

Re: Sea Gypsy

Yes S.G, I wonder what goes into them at times.  Or at what age do the contents get the chop🌹😊

Re: Sherri

Mostly, I find the old taste buds ain't what they used to be. Actually, my Brothe,r who hangs about here, is having a dental fix and is wary of eating anything hard, so I have to work my way through loads of crispy, crackly delicacies. Life is tough sometimes/😊

Uncle Albert and I had the same shopping experience yesterday! All those strange foods pre-made. Yes, I like to eat simple fare as a rule. 🥂🍾🎉🎊🌹

Wonderful it is to have Uncle Albert end my year.

You remind me it is almost 3.00pm here.

I haven't eaten a thing yet today. Maybe I will, maybe I won't. I wish I had bumped into you in a pub when I was on my world trip in 1985. I would have loved to have seen your farm. A few acres in the UK, grew just about as much produce as Dad's Australian farm.

Very Entertaining. I especially like how you illustrate energy in youth and our golden years. I know what you mean.

I feel your pain. getting older is a real pain in the arse. Living on popcorn is not ideal, but whatever works to survive. I mostly live on bananas and yogurt with bits of real food in between. Playing Russian Roulette with food due to tummy troubles is not fun, but necessary when one has a real craving for the good stuff. Anyway, Happy New Year! Regular smile

It's not fun worrying about eating certain foods because of dietary restrictions and medications, but such is life. I would love to be able to eat like I did when I was in my twenties, but my stomach says, not a chance. Confused smile
