Cook! He’s a cute one. Hubby has one -a plant - from the 80s or 90s. It lives outside now and doesn’t have a lot of leaves but it  lives.

maybe I shall go and have a chat to my plants, perhaps feed them. They are either dead or looking sad and wintery.

Our house was built in 1910. My south-facing window has a ledge, but not wide enough to hold a flower pot. My Money tree sits in my window that faces southeast. It is just the perfect light for it. My leafy-growing things are all outdoors.

It's lovely. When I moved into this 100-year-old house, I brought house plants with me. But the small windows and angle of the sun because this house is aligned east - west, and does not admit much daylight - this low light was not enough for plants to thrive, so I no longer have green leafy growing things inside. :(
