Re: Sea Sister,

Your most logical argument is advanced in this question: “Could it be that perhaps we need to be able to use both elements,  intuitive and rational thought, to be complete?” If you ask me, the amalgamation of the two, should be the best suited, from knowledge-acquiring point of view. Wisdom is something difficult to acquire or master, because this faculty does not depend on any indirect channel. So also is the path difficult. I mulled over it a long time after C C T’s equally good  query. A full article emerged which, I’ll post it after some  editing corrections later in the day and will be anxious to know the reactions & opinions. Since I’m yet far from reaching that stage, those that have been achieved by real practitioners. Wise passivity and Dhyana et al.

Aba Brother

I found this post to be most interesting. Could it be that perhaps we need to be able to use both elements,  intuitive and rational thought,  to be complete. Perhaps it is necessary to be open to nature and to natural intuition; to all that it offers, in order to later become self-directed learners. I think perhaps some of us can and do benefit from being taught basics and more by others. Good food for thought. Thank you. Red roseOpen-mouthed smileUmbrellaSleeping half-moon

To my way of thinking Wordsworth’s assertion comes closure to wisdom than by book-learning because the one is others’ experience whilst the other is one’s own experience gained through Nature’s universal Power. Sometime later, I’ll try giving an article on the Vedic practice and how this accuracy of the ancients are infallible and stand true even today in line with scientific findings. Thanks so much, buddy 😀🙏🏻

Quite interesting in reality I suppose it depends on the poet.

One declares that most work depends on ones existence.

Whilst the other believes most inspiration is achieved by former study.
