Some animals become severely agitated when they hear the word veterinarian. When dealing with an animal that has deadly claws, a cardboard box seems like a smart idea when transporting it to the one who will be viewed as the enemy.

I had to laugh at this. I don't remember ever reading this before. No. cat's don't love the Vet.
