family memories told when the older people came together were priceless. We spent many hours with Mum's family, especially the four sisters and their husbands. We knew a lot of Mother's take on memories and it was fun when s couple of the others would disagree with her. However the main joy was standing by the piano while one Aunt played and singing all the WW! and WW11 songs and others from the past.

I miss those days when card games were popular. When my girls were in school, we used to play spades, continental rummy, and pinochle until the early morning hours, depending on who our friends were on that particular night. Fun times! Regular smile

No Pat I had never heard of it. Perhaps it was complicated and easier games were preferred.

Never the less I did go back and felt the atmosphere that hovered somewhere as you described the ladies perhaps memories can be transported, who knows.  🌺🌺
