Looks good I think a fish that size with chips would cost nearly £11 here these days. When I was young we bought Fish and chips sixpence Italian owners. Then on to the cinema four pence. There were 240 pennies in the pound in those days. 🦋

Sherri G ,
Bengalis, especially in West Bengal, are all great fish lovers. I, a Bengali by birth, having lived in a desert state, Rajasthan, where rivers are few, what to talk about seas, I developed a taste about fresh water fishes. But, that too, occasionally. But certain sea fish delicacies I ❤️ lobsters and dry fishes etc. We’ll be in the USA this May and try out as many varieties I can lay my hands on. But my wife is a pure vegetarian.😏

Good for you. I am a sea fish food addict because I lived by the seaside for much of my life and even when I lived in a big inland town, they used to get fresh fish flown in once a week, and sold it at the airport. One lovely restaurant would ring us and tell us when fresh lobster had arrived and we would go out to dinner after work. So yes fish and crustations YUM!
