That picture id Priceless and absolutely beautiful. I love it. We had a big Community of Amish people in the Ottawa Valley in Canada, used to drive around in their horse and buggy and I loved waving to them. We always drove past them at a pace that wouldn't spook their horses though I suppose they are very used to cars.

Sherri.....
.....There are Amish people north of here and in the spring, summer and fall they bring their produce and baker goods and other such things down to an outdoor market. I've always loved to frequent it. My favorite thing they always had there were containers of homemade caramels. They were soooooo good.

Thanks for sharing. I love your pictures. We also have an Amish community where I live. Yet I have never seen a School Bus horse carriage. The Amish community allows us to time travel into a world of yesterday and realize how society has changed. And realize that the lessons of yesterday are important to today.

Re: Yes, FSI, they are abundant in Maryland and Delaware.
I always purchase Amish goods once home. Bylers and Spence's Bazaar are two of my favorite locations in Dover for buying bakery items, deli salads, and cheeses.

That is neat looking. When we had a convenience store, we would get the Amish in as customers. They would pay by check. Before that, I had pictured them with a wad of cash.
