Judy, my first wife, worked in a nursing home when she was studying to get her LPN and then RN, she had a woman who was restricted to her bed, who would break into a beautiful song when someone in the facility would pass away. Often, the staff might not have even realized there had been a death until they heard "Miss Bertha" singing,

When I was working in the nursing home the house next door to us had a dog that always howled when we were about to lose someone to death. It happened without fail; that dog new....Another nursing home in the next suburb, a patient would see a little boy climbing up on the window curtain; that patient would die within a few hours. Always happened.
The phenomenon of Ghosts is a most interesting subject.

What you sensed as you dealt with these situations may have been imagining. Or a heightened sensitivity to the transfer of the universe's energy. It may have transferred, dissipated, or hovered nearby for a time. Your ideas give readers like me something to think about.
