I believe Dad had been way more patient with this guy than my Dad would have been when he had workmen helping him on the farm. he didn't pay a big wage but they had a house...no rent .meat when he killed a sheep...produce from Mum's garden at different times of the year, and fruit and eggs. Something tells me you would all be better off without this guy.

An employee who continually talks about moving on is not a keeper. Having a positive attitude paired with good business sense will keep you thriving, with or without the "It" guy.
