It may take me a few days to get that story underway, but I know how to get it rolling, and this is always half the battle. It's fascinated me for years.

My favorite sci fi film is "Close Encounters of the Third Kind." Also loved Star Trek and its incorporation of other-worldly characters, Mr. Spock, especially. If you can write such themes in your stories, what fun that would be!
