Re: First time I took mine..... TAPS, and all...
I was so excited to finally be getting my license at 16 that while taking the driving test when the person testing me told me to "turn right here," I did obey. I failed. I thought because he was an officer wearing a badge that if he said to turn, turn I could and would. Well, it was at a red light and I didn't stop first. I thought he meant to turn right now, light or no light. A sad birthday.

I’m glad you decided to go for it. Personally, I started to drive when I was twelve (on an old road in an orchard with my dad teaching me) and I loved it! I couldn’t wait until I could get my license. I’m so happy you did get your license.

I was lucky because I was able to get my first license by written questions only. I would have been very nervous to have a driving test even though I knew I was already a good driver. I am sure I would never be nervous with you driving.

Well obviously you made it. I think I had two attempts I first one a different small car was used and it cut out and ran backwards as I did not allow for 4 passengers. Eek!

Fear can be a powerful motivator. It often nudges us to push ourselves to the limit.
