When you get tired of whatever earworm you're stuck with, I suggest choosing a piece of music you like well enough, and 'play' it over the other. I like the Ode to Joy, or something sweet on an Irish harp. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCWWTAuEW5w this is one of my favorites! It has long been one of the soundtracks of me.

I listen to music in the car and we watch music videos on YouTube, so I am familiar with earworms. I don't mind them until they lurk up in my brain when it's time to sleep. I had the verse from the song, I was country when country wasn't cool by Barbara Mandrell, in my head for nearly a week. It's a catchy song, but geez, enough is enough. I'm sure you know the song, but if not, you can hear it at this link: https://youtu.be/iZiBEmYa3DE
