Truthfully, Jemmie...
It took a while. It also helps that I mixed real life and fiction -
Annie Hall was a real first date for me. The funny thing is, this afternoon I'm thinking of writing a query letter to a non-mainstream publisher about an idea of mine - sort of an op-ed piece. I'm not saying more in case I get rejected.

Wow!
When I wrote the prompt, I had this cloud of guilt hanging over my head. I just
HAD to use La-dee-dah as the prompt, but I felt so horribly that you wouldn't be able to fit it into a blog about domestic abuse. I'm glad you did figure something out. Not only was it well written, but it shows how well you can adapt (which, to me, shows your future will be bright, indeed).
