Son is doing much better: Walking even!

Thank you all so much for your comments! Son is doing much better and even went for a small walk today. Yesterday he went with his dad to see the doctor to have his big bandages removed and now has only a small one to wear over his ear. Although I must say that it is a bit disconcerting to see the... The surgery was a success!

When we went to pick up Son yesterday afternoon at around 4h30, the doctor was there, about to leave too. We talked to him and he seems rather optinistic about Son's surgery and the recovery. As Son is presently in surgery and I couldn't stay at the hospital for 6 hours because the hospital is in repair and they have no waiting room for long period of waiting (it's a bit strange when you know the situation of the waiting lists and waiting time in emergency courtyards) I've decided that... Drums and Ears and Surgeries

Yesterday, son and I went to the pre-op. to get ready for his surgery. He had a bad ear infection when he was 5 y.o. and got a perforated ear drum and lost one of the three middle ear bones.
