Whew. Another weekend with a ton of sports reporting stuff to do but I got the jump on it this week. My mind was off my normal writing stuff so I spent that 'wasted' time getting a lot of my normal weekend writing done early. It's almost 2 AM EST (New York time) on Sunday morning and I have... Expensive Legal Stuff
This is going to be an off week for me. Between the power outage we had, I have to be in court like three times over the 'estate' of my wife. Despite having joint title to everything, they still are making me go to court to make sure everything was 'legal." I suspect the real objective here is to... Sign in to see full entry.

Good Grief, What A Week!
Late Sunday night, we had a sudden power outage. It only lasted about 45 seconds but when it did come back up, it came up minus power to about half the lights and outlets in the house and no water pump. Hmmmmmm. A friend of mine own an electric repair company and they got there late Monday. He was... Sign in to see full entry.

The Weekend is Over... Whew!
Another busy weekend behind me. I have done a ton of writing, just not much in my novella's. Sports columns are all done, websites are all updated... and then I took a walk in the woods. A real nice breeze was blowing through the trees and it was extremely relaxing. I'm going to fiddle around on... Sign in to see full entry.

A Much Closer Look Behind the Scenes of Everything I Write
In response to a comment Annicita left me, I wrote a huge reply but decided to just post it here. This is a deeply personal look at what made me, me. This is a lot of where I pull some of the 'darker' things that happen in my stories. Rage, emotional pain, and painful memories do a lot to fuel an... Sign in to see full entry.

A Look Behind the Scenes
Something that should come to absolutely no one as a surprise, a lot of the first part of "The Touch" is based on my youth. It makes it easier to keep a story line straight when you know the characters. In the section I just posted, I wrote about the car Todd was given and that section was a replay... Goals and Interviews
Well, the new story is slowly falling into line in my head. It's crazy that it took me so long to get it rolling but once it began to roll, it got easier. I've got about 2500 words into it so far and the story line is beginning to form. I predicted that 'The Darkness' would be about 18,000 words and... Sign in to see full entry.

So Let It Be Written, So Let It Be Said...
I found this tonight http://naturalreaders.com/index.html and downloaded the free version. I've played with it a bit and while the free version will only allow you to use "5000 letters and symbols" a day, it may be of some value. I am not quite done remodeling my new office so I am not going to... Sign in to see full entry.

Once In A Blue Moon
I was going through some old papers today and found a part of my wife's diary I hadn't ever seen before. I had asked her to start keeping a diary in hopes it would help her find herself again. While it didn't work, this explains a few things to me. This was dated last year in early June, about two... Sign in to see full entry.
Leaving The Darkness
After todays posting of "The Darkness," I find only two more posts are left to go. As I re-read the post from today, I can vividly recall the writing fury I was in as I wrote it. The words flowed as fast as the Mississippi River during a spring flood and I was rather amazed at how well it read when... Sign in to see full entry.
