Now we know better, we can do better.

Growing up neuro-divergent but never diagnosed, never acknowledged, one lives a lifetime self-blaming and self-shaming for the emotional awkwardnesses and embarrassments, the alienation, the aloneness. Repeated rejections breed resentment which doesn't make anything better or easier.
