Serious news

I just heard that former President Gerald Ford has passed away! We had just been told recently he was the oldest surviving Past President. He had to step into leadership at a critical time. Christmas Evening in my home town

There was candle light and cranberry colored napkins, crystal platters covered with ham and turkey, tender vegetables, fresh rolls, pumpkin pie, pecan and lemon squares and friends. Comfort in a box

I ventured out yesterday and purchased a new bed mattress and box springs. While Christmas shopping I discovered a SALE and could not resist. Sad news tonight,

Tonight I attended Mass, and learned that one of our Church members had been shot and killed while returning from shopping. I locked the computer up, not literally in a closed, but I disabled it somehow and it took a while to get her going again. My Daddy had an old Model A when I was a girl, The car was really old but he loved to play with it and clean it and show it off. But I remember he would use a crank on the front... Yikes where did the weekend go?
