Quality vs. Quantity?

I think I should make this quote my motto as I work on increasing my quantity of writing each day.... "...quantity produces quality. Only if you do a lot will you ever be any good. From last night's writing exercise journal.....

I am home now. The children are with their father for the evening. I am taking about thirty minutes to work on my writing. Today I actually feel a bit elated that I am writing on a more consistent basis. One of my favorite writers wrote about her kids noticing she was edgy when she didn’t write, and...
