On the Art of Reading
We had a lovely spring day today... back to freezing tonight! I've been considering how little most people younger than the Boomer and maybe the next generation read at all. Of course we didn't have much screen-time to divert us, and even tv was not freely on tap in my parent's house. So, growing up, I read. The first books I remember reading and losing myself into were Laura Ingalls Wilder's Little House books. I was probably in 2nd grade when I started with LITTLE HOUSE IN THE BIG WOODS,...
