William Styron

William Styron died on Wednesday (11/1/2006). He was 81, and died of pneumonia. He is perhaps most famous for the novels Sophie's Choice (his last novel, about the Holocaust, written in 1979) and The Confessions of Nat Turner (about a black slave).
