The citizens of Sderot forgotten - A poem

What is their crime, These people in the border towns? Have they bombed and beaten down The Palestinians of Aza and Jenin Have they elected the governments in Palestine to deserve such time? Who lives in Sderot? Murderers, muggers, thieves, terrorists All waiting for an opportunity to cross The border into Aza To strap on a suicide bomb belt To kill and maim the citizens of Aza To splatter blood over the town plazas, Blood of innocents going about their daily lives. Should we teach our own kids or leave it to others?

I am authoritarian. That I know and while it does work in teaching a class full of rowdy high school kids, it is different teaching your own child. I think subconsciously we all want our child to be a genius and if they are not, we are more understanding of our offspring's short comings when it comes from someone else and we are more protective of them.
