World Dominion

One of the things I love about Blogit is the dialog that ensues after a blog is posted. Take, for instance, my "What is a Zionist Banker" post. It drew the usual suspects (and yes, Naut - I sometimes taunt you-know-who with certain buzzwords I know he can't ignore just to show people that there are those like him in this world; many more than I'd like, actually) who live in the alternative universe of conspiracy theories and world control. But then there are those clear-eyed, sensible, rational... Sign in to see full entry.

We Are Our Brothers' Keepers

There is a mandate that says, Jews worldwide must watch out and take care of one another. Asked to pin it down, this BM (Blogit member) most likely would not know how to articulate it. Was Bernie... Sign in to see full entry.

Another Way to Look at the Financial Crisis

You want to know why you deserve this series of financial woes. Why do you see each thing as a punishment? Perhaps on the contrary, it became time for you to receive much more than ever before from Above. Only that, in order to receive such good, you must first become small. Like the olive, you need to come down from your tree and be crushed to bring out your oil. Like the seed, you must first sit in the ground and loose yourself before sprouting and growing into a mighty oak. Like a metal... Sign in to see full entry.

More from Rabbi Schneerson

When people want to free themselves from their humdrum worklife, they go on vacation. They rent a cabin with half the rooms they have at home and sacrifice many of the conveniences thy generally rely upon. They rough it. And then they feel free. As it turns out, everybody agrees; when you let go of those material things you have become attached to, then you can start to be free. Thinking has a profound effect. So does not thinking. A mind obsessed with yesterday's travesties, today's aches and... Sign in to see full entry.
