The little girl who went comatose after routine dental work (and the administration of three separate sedatives) has died, unfortunately. The dentist who was filling this young girl's cavities when she went unconscious is having his files searched by some agency or other - I didn't catch which one. The office staff has also had to call police because they have apparently received some threats. It also seems as if patients are suddenly having difficulty seeing this dentist, too. Right now, I'm in the process of helping my daughter file paperwork for food stamps. It's so frustrating I think I could scream. It isn't about her getting food stamps or any other form of assistance right now. I'm in favor of people getting anything for which they legitimately qualify, and besides, right now, I need her at home in the event of another February-like episode (that's when I suddenly came down with bacterial meningitis). I got the inspiration for the title from - believe it or not - watching a taped daily Mass from EWTN, where I thought I saw someone I hadn't seen on TV in the proverbial month of Sundays. It actually has nothing whatever to do with what I wanted to talk about. I'm not sure whether I mentioned this or Garfield did, but when I went to the doctor the other day, my numbers came back very much higher than even my norm. By now, many readers have heard of the case of a little girl who (as of this writing) lies comatose at Children's Memorial in Chicago.
