You get what you pay for: A Themestream/WrittenByMe postmortem
(When I first put this article out there on Epinions.com, Themestream had either gone under totally, or was just about to close its virtual doors. What I said here is pretty generic, so it generally applies to WrittenByMe and other such sites as well. That doesn't mean I don't miss them, though; I just wish they'd used a Blogging Network style of business model, charging customers by the month or year and dividing the pot with the writers.)
