Cancer, take a back seat
I got some great news tonight when I turned the computer on, news I'd pretty much given up on hearing. My Mom's cousin, Zelma, has cancer. I wrote about her in an earlier blog entry. She'd had emergency surgery and the doctors discovered a large cancerous tumor in her colon that was ready to rupture. Further tests showed that the doctors did not "get it all". Zelma was to start chemotherapy on Dec. 5, then she learned that she'd have to pay $14,000 to finish covering the cost of the chemo... Sign in to see full entry.
