WHAT IT IS?
Frybread sometimes called "Indian frybread". Well, it is exactly what it sounds like. Fried bread dough. Served piping hot out of the fryer with butter and honey. I like mine plain. The folks on the corner who were selling it were from Gallup NM. They were there with their cousin who's son goes to Sandia High School. (Go Matadors!) They were raising money for the wrestling team. So I had to buy two pieces and wait for the second one to be cooked while I ate the first and talked with them. Now... Sign in to see full entry.
