KINKY! KINKY!
That's what it was. Every time I tried to use my garden hose it got 'kinky.' I have one of those hose reels that is supposed to help keep the hose from getting kinked. Yet every time I pulled the hose out to water the planter on the far side of the driveway, the hose would kink up at least twice. Once when I was unreeling it, and again when I reeled it back in Then just last week I noticed water squirting up in the air where it wasn't supposed to be squirting.
