Sir Paul

June 12, 2022 will be a big day for me. That is when Paul McCartney is coming to Baltimore for a concert at the baseball stadium. McCartney has not done a concert in Baltimore since 1964, when he was with The Beatles. I've never seen McCartney before in concert. I've read that he gives a great show.... An Ode to Gloves

This bitter cold winter has shown us the value of gloves. Without gloves, our hands would be freezing. That would limit what we can do. With a job in the outdoors, I need my hands to work well. Rarely do I go to the recycling center to drop off my recyclables. The curbside program in my county is effective. As a kid, I never gave much thought to how snow weighs differently. Sometimes, snow is light as a feather. Other times, it is so darn heavy. The inches that have fallen do not necessarily matter. There has been a blood shortage for some time that the American Red Cross is dealing with. Before COVID, only 3% of eligible donors donated, a razor thin margin.
