Love the argument . . .

That "I'll go to church," or whatever, "just in case"! Well, with logic like that, I'd better start preparing to appease the Norse gods, "Just in Case They Exist."! Where is the logic in that? Presumptuous Believers . . .

... feel as if because the Bible says so, it is final. Well, there are many more non-Christians, myself included, than Christians in this world and we do not accept the Bible as spiritual authority. Who Sanctifies a Church?

In a comment, someone commented that a church must be sanctified. Perhaps. But who sanctifies it? Generally it is a priest or priestess who sanctifies a church, in the name of whichever deity is worshipped. Speaking of Church

Does it really matter when we go to Church. Just which day the sabbath is is not even in agreement among church-goers. And some religions don't even have a sabbath, per se. If a church can be anywhere, why can't a church service be anywhen? Sign in to see full entry.

Could it be said about Churches . . .

That a church is as much, if not more, a state of mind than a building? Even in Christian scriptiure is says something similar to, "Wherever two or three are gathered in My name, ther I too will be..." Sign in to see full entry.

Word "Church" Kidnapped . . . .

A comment was made to this blog that the word "Church" is defined as a group of believers in Christ. I looked it up, and, truly surprising to me, the comment was correct.
