As I noted in my last post on Spanish recipes, Spanish tortilla is nothing like the South American variety, but is a sort of thick omelette. It is excellent for such things as barbecues, picnics, and as it’s very filling, it useful to have on hand for when those Hunnish hordes of kids come stomping in ravenous.
