AN APPALLING TRAGEDY THAT HAS BEFALLEN FRIENDS
We had a big shock the day before yesterday. Steve, a friend in England who has a holiday home in France, was on holiday there with his wife and another couple, ( who we don’t know ) Steve and the husband of the other couple went outside for a cigarette on their first evening. A hornet was buzzing around Steve’s head, and he batted it away: but it came back and stung him. Within five minutes he went into cardiac arrest, and died: obviously of anaphylactic shock.
