Blog DescriptionAttempting to provide a different perspective on the things that we have come to accept and believe but this time around with a much mellower tone. Make no mistake however, patience with the bible lobotomized, (or those rendered dysfunctional by any holy book for that matter), is still in short supply. All I would ask anyone to consider is this; we all have a penchant to default to the notion of respecting the beliefs of others, my first response when someone tries to play that card against me is always the same . . . Saturday, March 3, 2012Okay, . . . so it wasn't my last Blogit postWhile looking for a suitable venue for a handful of articles I'm writing, a number of things began to occur to me about the years I spent on this site. The routine of producing a regular blog entry in itself became a discipline. Since my departure 2 1/2 years ago, writing has almost become something... I haven't had much time to stop in during the last few days of my membership, today I made time for one last perusal through a few different categories. Upon reflection, I can say... Admittedly, much of the downward spiral is a natural process, interest and subsequently enthusiasm is difficult to maintain and eventually wanes. The same... Invariably the assessment is negative, or describes a perceived shortcoming, or flat out describes what is wrong... It may possibly be the most ridiculous undertaking I have ever been involved in as a human being. You would have to envision the setting to fully understand, in the catholic church they build 3 little closets into the side of the wall. Each... The most common of perceptions pertaining to creation are that one singular being, timeless in origin, omnipotent, etc. etc. willed everything into existence with his (invariably masculine) super powers. So where did this perception come from? Why one God, why... Recently I witnessed one more incident on this site that confirmed that which I already knew. Vast numbers of the North American so called Christian will have a lot to answer for when their mythical... The words are Satan, communism, socialism, liberalism and atheism. Somehow an association has been... From basic concepts such as the eternal struggle between good and evil to questions of our origins, at some point in our lives we have all been programmed to think in a certain...
