winter's night

Winter’s night The flame reluctantly licks A lonely log. I revive the last flicker As the fire is ready to die Any minute. The radio breaks the silence; Phoney company Trying to fill the lonely feeling Of a long winter ‘s night By the fire. The paper is open on a forlorn page; Headline reads...
