Marie, I sincerely feel your pain. Am I out of line asking where this came
from? If you go to Dave's Poetic Meanderings and go back a couple pages, read "All Alone" and the sequel 30 years later "Still Lonely" I think we share this emotion!

marieclare, lovely. This poem grabs the reader and makes one feel that they want to help you find an answer and then toward the end, finally realize that you are finding the answer for yourself.

"Keep the Hope tight"& deliver beautiful memories in your own words, Brava!
The fire imagery is brilliant and so effective that a reader sees each flicker, each log, and when it eats the log with its scrumptious appetite. Your writing will save you--as it has many before us. Share the meories, regrest and skills -- we all do in one way or another. When we stop, we die! p-e-a-c-e&p-o-e-t-r-y
