Yesterday, I was watching TV and a commercial came on that said, “Afraid to show your face?” An attractive woman looked around whatever she was standing behind and said, “Not me!” I mumbled, “Nice face. Now show us your…” “ GUY! There are small, innocent CHILDREN present and they hang on your every word!” (This from Marilyn.) I quickly said, “ FEET! I was about to say feet!” She claims to have a hearing problem but I know better. She is trying to trick me into saying what I’m actually thinking.... Sign in to see full entry.

I did most of my growing up and learning (school stuff) in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I graduated from high school during the first half of the sixties. There was a consensus that being in a university town, ours was a very good high school education, and many of my classmates went on to attend the University of Michigan. Being young and therefore dumb, I didn’t take my parents up on their offer to finance the furthering of my formal education. The world was waiting for me to take it by storm and the...
