My imminent departure for New Mexico is having an interesting effect on how I am treated by Marilyn. I thought that I would notice a change but only AFTER my return, and once again, she has surprised me. As Marilyn was about to leave for her daily shopping trip, she asked me what she could buy to make ME happy! Well folks, in two more days my long awaited and much anticipated vacation visit to New Mexico will finally occur! To see the Rocky Mountains again, elk, pronghorn antelope, mule deer, maybe even buffalo and smell sagebrush after a nearly forty year absence, excites me more that words can convey. If my connecting flight to Denver passes over Boulder, Colorado where I met my ex-wife, I will be sure to make use of the toilet in remembrance of the day I met her in a print shop in 1970.
