Barbequeing this summer? Skip the charcoal briquettes, trust me!

Because today, at 10:00AM, the temperature here was nearly 80 degrees, and 80% humidity, when Marilyn asked me to prepare hamburgers for supper, I resolved to grill them outdoors. Having used up the last of our charcoal briquettes last evening, barbequing baby-back ribs and being heavily under-motivated to make another trip to the store, I started a fire using good old-fashioned hard maple firewood.
