Cats understand far more of our spoken words, than they let us know about. Hitler has heard me encourage Baby to “Bite that BAD CAT,” so many times, that she thinks the verb, ‘to bite’ means “When one irritates, barks at, and chases an enemy.” Baby KNOWS what “Bite the cat” means, but he prefers to act as though his human-to-canine translator is on the blink.
