Brother Thomas was the priest (at a monastery outside Quebec) who helped Monty prepare for his role in I Confess. He attended Monty's funeral in 1966 dying of cancer. Ultimately, he succumbed to the disease a few weeks later. Sign in to see full entry.

Trust

Another Twin

Burgess Meredith
Monty observed many peformances in the 1935-36 Broadway season, but he particularly liked Burgess Meredith in Winterset. We remember Meredith from his Oscar - nominated roles in The Day of the Locust (1975) and Rocky (1976). He died in 1997 at age 89. Sign in to see full entry.
