Die Before You Die and Die Daily. What???
If I am to ever get close to reunification with the divine, then I must die each day. St. Paul said he died daily (1 Cor. 15:31). I take this to mean that upon awakening each day, he would need to meditate/pray to bring forth (or keep) his true self, thus “killing” his false self. Like one who awakens each morning from the unconsciousness of sleep to the consciousness of life, one must awaken from the unconsciousness of the false self to the consciousness of the soul, the true self.
