A lesson listened to but not integrated until tonight
While meditating a few months ago with a CD by Dr. Christine Northrup and another physican who I can't remember her name. The CD is downstairs and I'm too tired to back downstairs. I'll let you know tomorrow. Anyway, the message was not to stir up past memories of trauma by watching TV shows or movies. I really thought i moved to a place of love without fear and I have really tried to not let fear find me. However, Richard was in the living room all day watching politics. I'm ready to puck... Climbing Higher
The darkness and depth of pain that punctuated her life started at a very young age. The beatings and abuse would be carried like an overstuffed backpack for most of her adult life. No one ever knows how to release these memories of pain and disappointment until they have come full circle with their life. It is coming full circle that also is the ending of that life in all but the most unique of lives. For this lifetime, it was her turn to wake to the love and beauty that all that surrounded her... Never Leave the Washing Machine Lid Up When Going to Find More Clothes
Many years ago on the planet Rutt that I used to live on, my two young children and I lived in a big farm house with the Prince of Rutt. Behind our house was an old chicken hatchery and the Prince dearly loved chickens as pets. He talked about getting chickens to raise from the moment we moved into our house. I had grown up on a small farm with chickens and pigs that we grew for our food each year. Chickens as pets didn't register with me but having just a few chickens and a rooster would be... How Do You Gage That Your Parenting Skills Were Successful
As my children were growing up, I was always told how well behaved they were by other adults at school and church or other social gathering. At Home it was sometimes a different story as I often had to herd them in and I couldn't always take them out in public but I could dress them up and sit them on the couch. They did look good sitting on the couch. I was talking to a friend at church who was a child pychologist who explained to me that having your children behave well in public most of the... Do Not Multitask While Transporting Moonshine.
A local news story just reported sounds like an episode of Mayberry RFD. A man from Florida was pulled over crossing the mountain under suspicion of DUI. He past the field sobriety test but when the officers looked into the car, he had a jar of moonshine sitting in plain sight. They searched the car and found 30 boxes of quart jars filled with moonshine. He told the officers he comes up here once a year or so to purchase the moonshine. This finding led to a search of the mountain with... Sign in to see full entry.

The Lesson in Life Wanted to Avoid Most
Life's journey begins with a set limit of time that we will stay on earth. As long as that reality looms in the future, we rarely think about our transition to a higher plane until we have to look this reality in the face. The older we get, this fleeting look is more often but the "I" that is so connected to this earthly plane does not let us really contemplate that this realization that our spirit has met the goals we set for our life here on earth or at least took positive steps in that... Losing a weight of the past; a lesson learned
My ex and I have a nice friendship now. I have been there to support him many times over the years. If he was stressed or in disstress then my children were also, so I have always been there to help and Richard has as well. He and I have also always been on the same page as far as parenting decisions. He is on his own again and has finally achieved a happy place in life. I had always told him he could be. My daughter told me he was flying to Albany, NY to buy a motorcycle. Odd one might think... Sign in to see full entry.
