- Go to Yeshua Preached Celibacy, Even for Those Married?
OUT OF ALL THE STUPID LIES TOLD ABOUT JESUS AND CHRISTIANITY
THIS ONE BRINGS DOWN THE HOUSE.
SEX IS A POWERFUL GIFT FROM GOD TO BE SHARED BETWEEN A MARRIED MAN AND WOMAN. THAT IS CLEARLY TAUGHT IN THE BIBLE.

Sannhet, her words read like the attorneys for someone afraid of sex.

we tend to impose our way of viewing things onto the masters, who don't think that way at all. we watch the form and cannot grasp the content. to resist sex is to pervert its meaning and usefulness in the human experience.

Paul says that
a man "becomes one flesh" with a prostitute.
that implies sex to me.
he also says in I Cor. that this applies to the "present distress"
and "it is better for a man to marry than to burn (sexually)"

I think Levine is "reading into" the text, which, of course...
is perfectly legitimate. But when we look at the Old Testament, which was Yeshua's heritage, we find no end of "begats," and "he went in unto her," and "he knew her." It's endless. It's all over the place. Sex is portrayed as a natural and necessary part of life. Nor is it considered to be a big deal. So I don't think Yeshua was at all concerned about sex per se one way or another. "Love and do what you will."

each should follow their own path
it is some people's path to be celibate - even while married - it is some people's path to be married and have children - actually, the most challenging path, in my opinion, with the greatest possibility of growth is that of married with children - living in the world but not of the world...
I think what this person lined out is bindings, a cause for great turmoil within a soul that is trying to progress, if the path of the celibate is not their path, interesting as it is.

I think this is the work of someone who never had an orgasm...why did God
create sex organs if not to have sex? The Bible is full of references about sex, having babies and etc.
