They say if you want to get something done
give it to a busy person. Those who do things, do things. I love the comments you've gotten from everyone about your idea of pillow talk.  Funny thing, this keyboard communication. You get to know people even without eye contact or alcohol.  Who was it that said follow your bliss -- the money will follow. Maslow? Joseph Campbell?  Jung?   I say if you can follow your bliss the money doesn't matter much.

while I persist with writing as a career I'll never be rich either. Trouble is that is what I do best

Interesting post. No did not sound like pillow talk. If your work goes into board rooms it could be table talk. LOL

Azur, with my experience of health care, I have trouble visualizing a convalescing surgical patient accomplishing so much while on the mend.   Great.   I love reading about your work.

Azur, the future looks promising to you.
Careerwise, you are doing fine. Healthwise, you may not have done a good job in the past but now you are learning fast as you have allowed yourself sufficient rest during convalescence period.

Sounds like a great job.
I like the fact that I work from home, although I would prefer a detached office.  I thinking working from bed would drive me into heart failure. You're a tough cookie to work after surgery!  I hope you're feeling better

Azur,

This is so inspirng.  You are so right, I have been fighting even the concept of structure and organization for so long that it's counterproductive.  Why?  Structure makes ideas tangible.  I am very excited for you and wish you very much success, as well as to read how it all plays uot.
