You are right of course. Am trying to see it as a co-incidence. I 'm the superstitious product of my Irish Mum; most of her superstitions I can ignore, but this one seemed to be supported by events. I am going to have a Baileys/ read my book. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Doll, I wouldn't worry about it at all, but I am supperstion free. If co-incidence is seen as exactly what it is, just chance occurance, you will worry much less and live longer and happier. How is knocking on wood or any other protectant action supposed to affect anyone or anything? It doesn't and can't. Relax and enloy! Guy

Like the joke too. Just what I needed. I am a feeling a bit upset at moment a bird has just flown into my house, everytime this has happened in the past somebody close has died. Do you think I'm nutty worrying about this? Have this sense of unease that won't go away.
