The first half was great!
I have no idea what the second half said.

I really don't know what I want to say; but, I read the poem 4 times. The first time I read for pleasure because I had been with the project since the beginning. The second time for increased understanding. The third time to ensure I had given just service to this piece you have so diligently worked to present. Quite suddenly I felt a need to read it a fourth time because in an uncanny way I got a real feel for the language. Throughout the this experience I was taken by the story, the vivid imagery and I felt my own personal growth as a poet (if I may so bold as to say that) was enhanced with understanding how achievable great poetry can be when the poet is as in tune with his subject and surroundings as this one presents. Again, my heartfelt thanks for sharing. I look forward to our next poem. I know I have to read this again. I am looking forward to it! sam
