Xeno, it will probably be a great anticlimax when it comes:
Sooner or later, I figure some tourist aliens will show up buying postcards and donuts and fuel, and taking snapshots of the wildlife... us, that is...  no big deal... and after a few times, we will start getting used to it.

another note on if they are there

there are enough people whom can be believed i think who have had some contact --

encounters

different types

certain evidence written about that appears valid

i once saw an impression gras that i really do believe was not made by any known human vehicle at the time

an oval with tire type impressions on either side and a third at the end

near our local air port

only thing near to that would be a helicopter

but i think that would make a different impresson

and I heard stories from others of a reputable nature

it's what you have as evidence that counts

just no aliens for real encountered it seems

Wanderers

Karen and I are wanderers. In 1981-82, we sailed the South Atlantic. We've been to Kootenay in BC. Now I find here that there is a Kootenai in Montana. Karen and I have lived full time on wheels. We've travelled from the Southern tip of Texas to Jasper, Alberta. We finally landed permanently in our dream home in the tall timber near Mt. Hood.

If we'd had the means, Karen and I would have wandered around the universe.  Imagine beings that have been here a million years longer than humans.  Millions of people have seen UFOs. Half of us don't have the imagination to believe extraterrestrials are here. With all the doctrines and dogmas we've got, we can't even communicate among ourselves. Why would extraterrestrials try to communicate with us? I hear that aliens tried to communicate.

I can't communicate my message with our powers that be. Give extraterrestrials credit for having the good sense to keep out of our affairs.

Interesting.....
Its not often here that someone questions the subject of aliens as you have.   I find it interesting and after a lot of my own research (although from limited sources) and pondering the subject from the view of my own belief system, I feel that aliens if they exist, exist on another plane to that which we humans are on, and until we evolve at a soul/spiritual level, we will not be able to see them.

It is fun to consider aliens, but I think I will believe in them when I see them for myself.
My Sis who died ten years ago claimed she saw a space ship land when she was driving through the nothingness of Kansas in the middle of the night.  The rest of us who loved her dearly couldn't help but be skeptical of that.  She knew it, so she wouldn't talk about it.  Now I must go read strat.
