Another Dead End

The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program is ending. Their funding ran out. It makes me wonder why they didn't get another grant. There is so little for the mentally ill that to lose one program is a big loss. In seminary a professor said, "Whenever things go wrong, God is saying to us, 'Do you trust... Election Year

It is hard to be a liberal and go to most churches. I heard all sorts of comments about Hilary and Bill when eight years ago. The church I go to now only makes a few snide remarks. Both parties have elements in them that are Christian and that are anti-Christian. I prefer to be a Democrat because... Sign in to see full entry.

God has not left us.

When I look at the present, it seems bleak for our daughter. She has been in a state of low level psychosis for the past two years. She is now unwilling to change medications even though the one she is using is not working very well. Until she is willing, nothing will change. Her condition is a lot... Sign in to see full entry.

God Brought Me Here

All the positive things in my life were engineered by God. I could have refused them and I imagine I did refuse some of the gifts he wanted to give me, but he lead me to the good ones. Church

We used to go together as a family for the eleven thirty service, but now we go either Saturday night or early on Sunday... Sign in to see full entry.

My book

If I told you the name of my book then I would tell you my name. If you knew my name, then this blog would no longer be anonymous. For now I need it to be anonymous. Besides, I know that you are just curious, you wouldn't buy it anyway. So I'm sorry, the secret stays with me. But I can still share... Sign in to see full entry.

Letting God

I have not had time to work on selling my book. I think about it, but i have so many other things to do. But next week, I will market my book. Yesterday my cousin bought three books, one for herself and one for two of our cousins. She may get me a speaking engagement. I don't know how things will... Sign in to see full entry.

There are other unconventional Christians like me!

I found a website for wounded pastors that urges those of us who for whatever reason can't work in churches to become street pastors. I'm intending to write more about it. Sign in to see full entry.
