R-MWC traditions, part II

Every year the seniors (this would include me this year, folks) hang their graduation robes on their dorm room doors. Each senior also has a stole/ scarf that she drapes around her neck that she pins buttons on that she collected during her time at Randolph-Macon. Its become the tradition as well for each senior to wear a funny hat as well. She then wears this getup to convocation, Pumpkin Parade, Founder's Day, and Daisy Chain. R-MWC traditions, part I

One of the best things about going to a small women's college is its traditions. You will probably hear me talk ad nauseum about the traditions here, but I wanted to highlight some of the most important ones, so that you know what I'm talking about when I do babble on and on about "Pumpkin Parade this" and "Neverending Weekend" that. SG work week

I haven't written very much. At least, not much of consequence. And I'm afraid that this entry is just going to be some of the same old, same old. I got back to school on Monday evening, after several hours on the train and several hours in my car driving. The first thing I did when I got back was go out and get new sheets, because the old ones were foul. And I'm not just saying that because I simply wanted to go out and shop.
